Let's say you have a piece of art that is priceless to you. Whether it's a drawing proudly created by your child or a beautiful but fragile piece of needlework from your grandmother that you would like to see preserved for future generations.
You want it framed but have no idea what would look good:
with or without matting;
bold or subtle, or a combination of both;
which method is most suitable so that your special piece will not damage over time.
Professionalism + Passion = Perfection
The possibilities are endless. But even though the task might seem a bit overwhelming at first, it is the job of the framer to guide you through this process, making it a fun experience and ultimately presenting a finished product that exceeds your expectations.
Certified by the Professional Picture Framers Association, I specialize in the preservation and framing of needle arts and have achieved a fine art painting and sculpture diploma through ACAD.
My experience is extensive, having worked 8 years as the in-house framer for "The Purple Needle" in Calgary, Alberta.
I have also worked for 4 years as the exclusive framer for "2 Busy Stitchin" on the corner of Kensington Road & 19th Str. N.W. in Calgary, Alberta.
It is the love for framing and designing that brought me to this profession. Passionate about what I do, I treat every piece of art as if it were my own.
